Finally saw some deer late last week. I had a button feed in front of me at 30 yards for a good 15 minutes and or so on thursday night and a few other doe moving around in the area. Friday night I had a 100" 4x4 come through at about 35 yards. Hoping to get something I want to take come in soon

I wasn't able to get out for the opener here in Tx. Spent my weekend with the fiancee. That's closest I got to a dear! LOL! Hopefully maybe this weekend will be the chance. Did anyone else have any luck?

Went and pulled cameras last and the movement has really slowed down at my main hunting spot except for one camera. That camera had 500 pics but somewhere between that camera and checking two more I must have dropped the card. Went back retraced my steps by couldn't find it. O well I guess, the farmer had his combine there ready to pick beans so I will be hunting my backup spot tonight and tomorrow morning while the other is harvested.
