Heck ya, congrats on the buck. Looks like I've got some catching up to pull my weight around here. Nice job again!

Just got approval from the boss to put my 40 hours in before Friday so I can take it off. I'll be heading to the stands for an all day sit.

I am needing your guys opinions though, I have cameras at 2 of my stands where the bulk of the movement has been but I can not see very far from these stands. I have 2 other stands that I can see long distances from including the general locations of my cameras. What do you guys think as far as setting up where I can see more ground to watch for cruising buck or setting up in the close quarter locations and hoping something passes through?

Default My unexpected visitor!

Well guys, got a chance to get to the proving grounds this past Sun. Checked my cam, i had about 300 pics from 10/13-11/7. About 100 was false shot pics, or crows, coons, etc. Well in those 200 pics, I found "Dasher", the 8pt. buck that I've been seeing off & on for 2 yrs. Guys, here's the spirit killer. Sun., i got a late start on the evening hunt. Before I arrived to the stand location, I scan thru the trees & brush. O' and behold, there at the feeder "Dasher". I stop, kneel, and set up for the shot,... he looks up towards me. Just as i take aim, take the safety off...he dash off into the brush, with his tell waving high...Bye-Bye!

Congrats on some GREAT Bucks. I am sorry I been off line for some time. The season has a long way to go and I plan on getting out in the woods real soon. I am back in the game after some real BS the last few weeks.
