I'm still in the game til February. I hunted PA Bear Archery season. I shot a 200lb on the first day . I hit in in the shoulder area. The arrow was buried up to the flectings . The Bear ran 60 yards and went into a HELL HOLE Swamp. I went back the next day to track and never found it. To say I'm disappointed would be a Huge understatement. I got plenty of time to try and score a Deer for the team
. I hunt Ohio in late January and PA and Nj are open til January early February. Good luck get back later.

This weekend I am taking my fiance out to try and get her first deer, I am hoping to get tagged out quick as possible so that I can get back to my hunting. I may even switch to trying some public ground as I found a piece that seems to hold a lot of deer with no pressure from hunters. Hopefully that will pan out and I can get on the board.

Yea, pretty much the same thoughts I had when I walked up to him
Fortunately I still have a tag left to go after one of the big boys. May try to head out and hunt Wed, then again the wknd of the 19th. Season runs til 1/15, but not sure if I'll have a chance to get out in January.
