Thank you for the alternate spot. I'm hunting Dixie County Florida this year. Week one I saw a bobcat, week two I bumped a deer sleeping under my stand & week three a turkey pooped all over me coming off the roost at daybreak. Hopefully my next outing will be more productive, but I'm seeing lots of action, so it's a good season so far...

Damon people were reporting scrapes in my area about three weeks ago. My usual scrapes opened up yesterday. Don't worry those cold temps will get them moving.

I had a young 4 pointer under me yesterday evening. He was so close I could smell him. I have seen a lot of young deer but I am waiting on something a little more mature.

I am moving tonight to a new spot I have not yet hunted. A pinch point between a river and a lake that leads to a food plot. My camera says there are 2 bucks traveling together through this area.
