The first thing I noticed about "Turkzilla" was the droopy ears. Looks like a mirror image of the Mitch Rompola saga.

Zim, if your last guy does not get a bird we could easily knock off 50 points and still win this contest.. Naturally we are not knocking any of our scores off.. We just have the better team this year that is all..

We also have 19 birds compared with what? 16 birds?

There're was alot of controversy over Mitch rompolas pottential world record buck. I don't know what the final verdict was. I guess Zim is questioning camokenneys and our teams integrity.

I have no doubt that Zim is raising a little cane over it.. 2 years ago Zim had around the same thing that I had scored for him. If Mottz does not score a bird it will not matter as we have enough scores to settle the win anyways.. However, I am not freely willing to give up camokenny's high scoring bird over Zim's remarks and niether should any of us.. It was shot fair and square just like all the other birds were..

I totally agree Phil! We shouldn't have to even have these conversations, because there is a few soar losers.

I am inclined to agee with you.. I did do a score with out camokenny's big bird and we would still win if Mottz does not score.. But, none the less we will always have a few soar losers.. I am very confident we have won this contest!!

Well team I'm all out of tags. They are all filled. I will send picks to Phil and a story later today when I get home. 230 mile drive home then I will get on the PC. Let them cry all they want. I will be more then happy to send a pic of beards after I cut them off they are all still together on one piece of skin.

First of all congrats again!!! I may have some difficulty getting it posted tonight.. I am not yet sure though. I am at work and the wife called to let me know they just had a large hail storm go threw with tornado warning around 10 miles north of me.. That may raise havock with our power at home? But, if all is ok that way I will surely have this bird poasted as well!

In the NFL if you loose the challenge you loose a time out. Are you ready to loose a turkey off of your standings. As Phil previously stated the way things are right now we could go to camok's next bird and still beat the soar losers legion. I mean long spur legion

We will still be the winners and he will not have gained anything.. So all we should really be doing is just laugh it off.. If there is any real problem Arrowmaster, JW or another mod will get it straightened out.. No need to keep this going.. We will know if we won or not shortly.. If Zim has a real issue he can take it up with a mod.. That is what they are there for.. Not much sence in argueing with him and he can rant if so chooses to.. Team # 1 just scored another bird for the where it counts.. While I do believe we are still ahead I will have to take a look at it once I get home guys.. Thie is now 8 forthem on the best bird scores..

What state was "Turkzilla" allegedly harvested in? I think the HN mods should be bypassed in favor of the home state fish & game department. This isn't about crying or complaining. It's about you guys being good sportsmen and volunteering to do the right thing. :hit:

Well guys we escaped another shot across the bow from team 1 as well. But they are getting closer, just not close enough as of yet. I am thinking they are now at 468.75 if my figuring is right.. If another one from team 1( that has not got a bird yet ) happens to get a bird we will be out of it.

Ok guys here it is after three days of hunting I finally got on and figured this bird out. Which is the only longbeard that I seen all weekend. I tried him for 2 1/2 days with no close encounters. Hens would always ruin things or a group of jakes would run him off. cant wait till next year with all the two year olds running around. Anyway this morning I really closed the gap on him. When he flew down with the two hens that always seem to be with him they headed up hill away from me. Knowing that yelping at him with hens was not going to work all I threw at him was soft purrs and clucks. The hens turned around and came trotting back my way bringing him in tow. the hens got passed me and when he hit the 20 yard mark I dropped him. Not a very exciting kill but hard earned after the last few days.

I love stirring the drink.. I think I do that part best.. I do ok with turkeys here as well. But, unfortunately they normally are small due to no big farm lands..

camokenny, blackheel, and swampbuster, you guys have carried this team well. But, you could not have done this without the rest of us..

I also want to make sure I thank SouthernStrut56, Jepcho, and Kellyquinn for helping our team to where ever we end up.. I am thinking we will be the first to cross the finish line lets all hope so..

I also want thank Talondale, Dano111, Bigc870, and mmorgan for being on the team. We all know that this was a hard year to hunt as the winter was hard on them and the weather sure did not give much co-operation either.. We all hope you enjoyed your hunting time.. We sure would of like to have heard from some of you and hopefully we will all be on this team again come next year.. So please speak up and be heard and if your having trouble with those birds chime in and let us know.. We all want every one to get a bird if at all possible even though some of our answers may not appear that great.. We just want to try and help you all out.. I am looking forward already to next years season.. I had a lot of fun being on this team After all it is a team effort!

5 birds total this year. My plans were to be 7 but due to the unplanned move I was unable to make the Missouri hunt this year.

Maybe next year. Really hope we have this same team next year.

I think we all hope to be on the same team next year as well.. In just a few more days this will come to a close I am thinking and that will let us know for sure! I am thinking will be the same team again!

Hey Phil I hope you feel like serving a second term

You know it! LOL But we are not out of the woods yet.. We will be soon I believe.. I hope all of the team enjoyed the team we have as well. It has been great.. The only down side of it was waiting so that I could play as well. Everyone out hunting birds and I am hoping that my turn would hurry up and get here.. Thanks guys!
