Well I can't shoot yet as no kill tag but that don't stop me from taking others out.

Hunted 3 days with this guy through some nasty snow storms too.
And this morning at oh dark thirty we had em pinned and got them in at 6 AM. Buddy 1st shot was click!! WT??? Whipsered quick rack a shell in let that one fly and he did. Not slam it home when I cutt and that he did. And then boom.....birds where nervous at 15 yards but my cutting masked those unusual sounds.

Ten days til the opener! Went out this morning and heard one across the road. Did find a bunch of fresh tracks, but most appeared to be hen tracks. Where that dust area was i smoothed the dirt out and may go check it around noon. Figure if anything walks thru it ill know they come in before noon!

My season starts today. Off work on Wednesday. Can't wait. Drove by my favorite spot Sunday morning at about 0730 and saw a nice tom strutting. Hopefully he stays put in that area for just a few more days.
