I have noticed there seems to be a rather large following of 20 gauge turkey guns. Some turkey forums have a section just for the sub gauge guns. Have any of y'all taken the 20 gauge turkey gun plunge? I have a shotgun addiction so it would not take much to talk me into another gun. Lol. Like I really need another one.

Speaking of shotguns. I have a beat up 870 with a modified choke. 12 ga. I've won meat shoots with it and killed numerous critters from squirrels to deer with it... but no turkeys. (the turkey I shot in ND, I killed with a model 12 I borrowed from one of my professors.. it was so long that I had to watch how I carried it or the muzzle would hit the ground)
Should I get a turkey choke? Spiffy ammo?
10 years ago... when the shotgun didn't look quite so abused. But I was rockin' the HNI hat.

I bought a new undertaker choke tonight. Going to try and pattern it this weekend. Nothing wrong with my xx full turkey choke I use now, just looking for a tighter pattern. If it doesn't work I'll go back to the xx full. Im ready to feel the rush. Come on turkey season
