My name is Shawn, also known as ManofTheFall. I live and hunt in the Great Buckeye State of Ohio!!!!! I live in prime deer country and have several nice bucks on my radar this year. I am willing to take the lead and be team captain if there are no objections. I hope we all have a great year this season and let's win this thing!!!!! Looking forward to meeting you all.

My name is Keith. My username is far outdated as I am 28, wish I could change it. I will be hunting in Southern and Northern Illinois as well as Wisconsin. James here, hunting in Upstate NY. Have to admit, I am envious of you guys in Ohio, Wisconsin and Illinois.

I hunt mainly State land, lost my 1200 acre lease several year back and properties up here are difficult to come by. I try to take a doe every year and hope a 120+ class deer walks by, everything else gets the hall pass.

Well guys, half the team has checked in. Lets start throwing around some team names. I like The Fall Guys. Whatever we come up with for a team name I'm hoping one of the team members can come up with a logo.

I am not really good when it comes to graphics. I can do simple things like overlay a name over a photo but as far as creating anything from scratch count me out on that! The Fall Guys works for me. Usually it is just a hassle to come up with any name, so I am glad that you had a suggestion! October 4th cant come soon enough for me. I am getting out this weekend and finalizing my sets for the year and checking some cameras. Hoping to see some additional candidates for the hit list!

Started to put up a new set this morning but didn't get it finished. Put out a pile of corn, a trophy rock and a bag of minerals and hung a camera in it in a high traffic area. Hoping to get some good pics there. Besides the new set I started this morning I still have one more to move and one other new set to hang. I should get that all done next week. I have been glassing a field right by one of my better areas these last three nights. I saw one that will go at least 180" and two in the 160" range and several nice up and comers that will get passes for a year or two. Hoping to have some nice pics from the cam I can post soon. I am so far behind on everything this season it's horrible. I bought a newly renovated home and once I got into it I found out it wasn't as renovated as I thought it was so most of my free time has been going into it.

Since the majority of us have checked in does any one else want to add any team names into the mix? If not it looks like we will be going with The Fall Guys.

I am good with the proposed name and keeping my vote for you as captain. Got out this weekend and finished my sets and checked some cameras. Have 4-5 decent bucks in the 130 - 155" range. Will have to load some pictures when I get a chance.

I shot my new crossbow and it shoots awesome. Now to get the compound out there today after I finish hanging the stand I started last week. Iwill also be checking the trail cam as well. I will post any good bucks I get.

Compound is spot on. Crossbow is shooting great. I got a lot of pictures but no shooters. I have a decent looking 8 and a couple other nice ones on the cam but haven't seen my big boy yet. I will post a few of those pics.

Here is one of the 8 which I have about 50 more of.

I'm guessing he is a 2 1/2 year old probably between 100"-110". I told my son he could shoot him cause he hasn't shot a buck yet but he should wait on a bigger buck cause we know there are several larger ones on the two properties we hunt on.

One thing I would like to change in the future is my off season shooting. I really don't do any at all. I usually start in August and shoot a couple times a week until season starts. Here are a couple pics of my first day of shooting with my compound. The first one is from 20 yards and the second is from 30 yards.

Does anyone know how long we wait before we ask for an alternate?

Austin here. I'll be huntin SW Missouri this fall. Got a 15, 10, & 8 point im keepin a close eye on. We kick it off monday down here. Cant wait to get this thing started! Shawn, youve got my vote as captain.

That is nice looking young buck you got there Shawn! Welcome Austin! Sounds like you have some good shooters running around too. I definitely need to change my off season shooting habits as well. I usually start in July consistently shooting a few days a week but that routine started much later this year. Too damn busy. I like Rut Raiders better so that is my vote for team name. We have had a 20-30*F drop in temps over the last couple days so it definitely is starting to feel like that time of year. Season kicks off Oct 1 and I will be out Oct 4 all weekend. Good luck to everyone starting their seasons off! Hopefully we can get these last couple guys to check in!

This weather has it feeling like archery season! Two more weeks for me until Ohio opener. Of course, it will probably be 95deg by then! Hopefully not.

Hello Team 4. Eric checking in aka NJ CAMO MAN. Sorry for being so late. Will be hunting NJ. Our season starts today 1/2 before sunrise. Still getting over shoulder surgery, so i wont be out until mid October but we have a long season in NJ (ends 1/31). Shawn sounds good for capt. Fall Guys is fine for the name.
