Passed a young doe yesterday evening. Had her at 17 yards broadside but I decided to wait.

Climbed out of the stand near dark and had 3 doe's and 1 fawn in my clover plot. The doe's blew and ran off but the fawn stayed and came towards me. It got within 10 yards of me before it bolted off. A great night of action.

Yeah, I sent them a PM earlier. Maybe they forgot about the contest. I do that sometimes. Sign up, get busy, and forget to check back in.

hi guys. i'll be hunting mn and wisconsin. i got like a 90" buck last year and something similar the year before. this year will be brutal. no doe tags anywhere i hunt and deer numbers are way down. i have a 2 acre food plot in each place and i'm barely getting pictures of any deer at all in either. in the past there would be deer in both every morning and every night. i have one picture of one buck i would shoot. that's it.

so, i'm looking at public land. hopefully i'll locate some deer

good luck everyone!

RackLuster, do you have any idea for why the new lower numbers? Hunting pressure, coyotes, CWD, reduced habitat?
