You can only enter your first buck irregardless of the state. So you can't shoot a 60" buck in one state and not enter it, then later shoot a 140" buck in another state and enter that one.

The contest states that you have to register the first buck harvested by bow.

I'm in wisconsin and my zone I can shoot 2 bucks. I am planning on going for a big boy first and then either another nice one or a cull buck. That was my plan regardless of the rules.

Based on the pics I've seen you post, you have a great shot at doing that successfully.

I tried that my first few years in these contests and ended up not even killing a buck.

These days, the first buck that makes me think "I'd like to shoot him" gets shot.

Finally got out with no one cutting wood or taking beer joy rides on an atv.

2 hours on the soy bean field brought out over ten does. Who kept running around and playing but not coming in range. After they all left they came back out in a group of three they walked by.

35 yard rage 3 blade double lung pass thru. She went about 40 yards.
