Been sitting long mornings and evenings, had a 4 pt this morning, woods went dead the last two days, hopefully it is getting ready to blow up! See some scrapes have been freshened up this morning, have this week off, farmer taking down standing corn....see how this plays out.

Just got back from my 4 day weekend hunt and saw lots of deer just no mature shooters. The are just now starting to cruise in SE indiana. The spikes are running the does right now but I think the big boys will start being more visable by this weekend.

I leave friday night for an entire week of hunting so should be good

Well guys I got it done this morning. 8 points 20 1/4 inch inside width. I had 2 different bucks chasing a doe which was apparently in heat. This buck came and hit her trail and I grunted at him. The string was reeled in to 15 yards and the Beman sent on his way through this bucks lungs. I will put a tape to him tomorrow.

Congrats on a great buck dbllunged. I killed a nice buck for down here last week, 9 point that scored 128 7/8, but I took it with a gun. Bucks are definitely waking up down here.

I am off starting tomorrow through the weekend. Cold air is rushing in with a rising pressure so I am hopeful to see a lot of activity and catch one of the big boys.

Great buck!

Sorry I have been away I just got back from a week of hunting at our place in Indiana and while I did see several good deer I wasn't able to get it done this trip. I will still be heading down a few times in Dec so hopefully our winter food plot will help me get it done.
