The cold front is here and the weekend is approaching. Hopefully the bigger deer will be on their feet during the daylight hours. Good luck to everyone this weekend.

Weather is changing and looks like it will stay that way for at least a week here. Going to do morning hunts , when the winds are lower, see what shakes out. Nothing on cam, have 3 out and get a Doe here and there, odd but cant harvest from the couch.

Well here is a pic of her. I was really surprised at how much fat she had already put on this early in Oct. compared to other early season does I have taken.

I didn't see much while on stand this weekend but I did have a couple nice bucks show on a couple of areas I am hunting. They decided to show during daylight hours which is even more encouraging. Now hopefully I don't screw this up and end up with one of them.
