I hunt all public land here in MD, on the shore. Here are my last couple years of entries for the contest. Pretty much the type of deer I see every year 110-140ish.

Here is So MD, the opportunity for a 140-150 class buck is realistic, but rare. There are no lack of nice bucks around, but they know the score and are mostly nocturnal. All hunting now is practice for when the rut comes in, lol. Still, one can get lucky...
So far, I've had a few near opps for does but never got the right shot angle. I had a nice buck come by the other day on the local Navy Base, but I was in earn-a-buck territory with no doe yet.

Early archery season is over and we're now well into firearms. I've had a rotten cold for the past week and am just now crawling out from under my rock. We can still use archery gear even in rifle season and the area I hunt usually gets very little gun activity. So I'll be sneaking out as soon as I feel up to it and see how spooked the deer are.
