Team 2 Checkin
 

Hey everyone! You guys know the drill lets all get checked in. I noted where everyone will be hunting as indicated in the initial contest thread. When does everyone's season start? I will be hunting the Illinois first shot gun season that starts Friday Nov.21st and then head to Wisconsin for their 10 day gun season that Sunday. Hopefully the Illinois season brings some success, if not their is a 2nd season which would be the last chance at a buck and a 3rd and 4th season if needed for a doe. Excited for this year but still looking to close out my bow season first. Cant believe gun is right around the corner! Oh yeah, we will need a team captain and name so anyone with any ideas feel free to suggest!

jdb_77 checking in here in Oklahoma. Our muzzleloader season ended on Nov 2 and our rifle season opens Nov 22. I got a doe during muzzleloader already. If I can use it for points let me know and I will post pic. I know we are getting a late start with the contest so I am not sure how the rules are going to go for the time to post it. I am good with any team name and who ever wants to be captain. I hope everybody has great success this season and I am ready to se some pics of some big bucks. Good Luck to all!!!

JDB, unless someone else wants it I would be willing to be the team captain. I will check with the moderators but I think you should be able enter the doe. I will let you know. I really don't care about team names either. For all I care our name can be Team 2. haha.

Checking in. Also checking in a couple of deer. Doe for 25 or 50 points, whichever it will be and a 9 point that scores 128 7/8. I can put up the measurements when there is a scoring thread.

Wow this is a fast start to the season! Congrats on your early success guys! Good news as you guys already know is that deer harvested this year but before the start of the contest will still count! Jrbsr created the official scoring thread so go ahead and post your entries for the team! Just waiting on 2 more to check in

Congrats on the deer down! Nice buck super.
I think deernutz has one down with his bow this year already so overall sounds like a good year for all.

Well looks like we are all here and already having some success this season! I have started my one week countdown to gun opener, good luck guys!

I am bowhunting this afternoon and my first leg of gun season kicks off tomorrow with Shotgun in Illinois. Will be there for a few days before I head north to Wisconsin for the 10 day rifle season. Good luck to everyone and be safe! Happy Thanksgiving if I don't check in before then.

Here is the deer I killed on Oct 30 during Oklahomas muzzleloader season before teams were announced. Sorry for the delay but I have been busy with work and family.

jdb, can you post your picture on the picture post thread. The score won't count unless the picture is posted on that thread.

My gun season was a bust. I still have a couple late season doe hunts that I am hoping to go out a whack a doe so I will keep you guys posted
