Gerry checking in from frozen Wisconsin.

The cold and snow ended my bow hunting early during the rut. Saw nice bucks 4 days in a row before the blizzard hit NW Wisconsin and cut my trip short 3 days. Couldn't get the shooters any closer than 50 yards so will be hunting hard during the 9 day gun season. Forecast looks like it will be cold but sitting in the stand will be more tolerable knowing I can reach these big guys with my 30:06.

Fastetti checking in from Illinois. Scored on a decent 8 point during bow season and the freezer is full so I'm just looking to put one on the wall. We have some good bucks running around, just hoping the wind and the weather cooperate!

It looks like I will be eating tag soup this year.
My truck is dead, and not fixable, with no way to get to the woods.
Maybe something will happen before Jan 1st - 2015
