I did manage to make it out for a couple hrs Sat. evening, but then a big storm rolled in with lots of wind & rain, I didn't see anything. For the last 4 days I have not even had Doe on my Cam, which Is very odd. Mock Scrape not even touched, apples, sittin there like they have leprosy, don't really know whats going on, never had a year like this, no Bucks since end of July. Whether has been good, high in 40's....will be sitting out this weekend. You guys think the rut will come a week or so early with the weather conditions being cooler than normal? No signs of scrapes either. Good luck everyone.

It looks like you've been removed from the list?

Well, there was a couple of days where I had nothing on cam, now I see some Doe's coming back through, still no Bucks though Just a matter of time though. Going to go out tomorrow evening and see what happens, hope to put some venison in the freezer and back Straps on the fire!
No signs of any pre rut around me yet, have had guys say there are some a little north though, prolly the lil fellers getting antsy. Good Luck and glad to see the ice was broke by the Baldy on the board, nice job!

I passed up another buck this morning. He was a decent 8, but not what i am looking for. It was a beaurtiful morning with temp around 30. There was not a lot of movement though. I will be back out on Sunday morning to see what happens. Good luck and good hunting.

Hunted this evening and saw just one deer. It was only 25yrds away, but it was in real thick stuff, so I couldn't ID it. I found this nice rub on my way in. I take the same route each time to this stand site, and it wasn't on that tree this past Thursday. Things are starting to get under way.

I hunted pretty hard for the last three days. Saw three does. Never got a shot. It was really windy and it seemed like all the deer just stayed bedded down for the weekend.
