Opening day was yesterday here in PA. Was very hot but still saw good movement. Saw over 20 does and a few small bucks. Should be able to put something on the ground this week with some cooler weather

Most deer movement still at dark. Cold front that just blew should get them moving more in the daylight. Off to Kansas in two days. Haller at you guys when I get back. Good luck

I am hoping to get out this weekend, it is going to be in the 70's, with a chance of storms. Still have some work to do around the trailer and game cams have been out for a couple weeks. Getting the fever bad...

I was out yesterday afternoon but only saw one as I climbed up my stand. Should get out this weekend once or twice and hoping to hit it hard the two weekends after that as the rut heats up.

Has anyone else been out? Seeing anything?

Have not sat down and scored him yet guys!.. but will do soon. He came out on a 70 degree evening into my milo field. I found a fresh scrape and I hung my climber that day @ 400pm didnt think I would see any daylight movement and he walked out at 700pm. I proably should have passed at waited for a bigger one in the rutt but I struck out the last 3 years. I am sure tickled to get him. 43 yard shot with my hoyt. The grim reaper didnt open up all the way but was a very good double lung shot. Didnt bleed much till about 50yds and it was red carpet after that. He went less than 100yds.

Nice looking buck good job! Only thing I've seen within shooting range so far was a small fawn. Will be back out on Tues.
