Sent Phish500 a message and have not received a reply.

He has just 60 posts and has not been on the site since August 27.

Time for a replacement?

I just received a pm from golfpro261
They missed the check in with their original team due to some unforeseen circumstances and is now on the alternate list. Since we have one no show I've sent Fieldmouse a pm asking that they be put on our team if available.
Any objections?

Don

Let's do this! I'll be hunting my land in western Wisconsin. Busy on the weekends with planning our wedding but I'll be out for ten days first week of November. Hopefully see one of the 170+ beasts from the last 2 years.

Welcome golfpro261 to Team 1nfringe. I'll be hunting just north of you once Bear season is over. Having a time trying to fill my tag near Rice Lake in NW Wisconsin.

Just got to check my cameras again. Looks like all the bucks here are out of velvet now. Got a ton of buck activity on sep 14-16 when they had velvet shreds hanging off and then bring clean.

Got 1 nice buck and a few ok ones on camera.

Requested 2 days off during the week at work so I'll be able to get out a little more than I thought.

First off, welcome to the !nfringe Golfpro!

I`m back on the ferry heading towards Nova Scotia. The moose, bear, and caribou hunt in Newfoundland was a complete bust. 4 inches of rain over four days kept the animals hunkered down (it sucked leaving the floods in Colorado only to walk into them in NFLD). The outfitter felt horrible and has invited me back, dispite our efforts to arrows things in the wet mess. I turned my Atv in a submarine many times while crossing raging brooks. I loved the adventure, but boy, sure would have been nice to see an animal!

I`m looking forward to being home! I`ll be hunting antelope next weekend, but my deer hunting efforts will start soon after that.

Best of luck to everyone!

Sorry to hear about the results of your trip. Hope your hunting gets better.
I'll be out Thursday for the first time, season officially starts Tuesday.
How's everybody else doing so far?

That's the way the cookie crumbles Don, no outfitter in the world can control the weather. I was planning a tule elk hunt over the week around Thanksgiving. I will now use that time to fly back to Newfoundland. The woodland caribou tag is so hard to get, I am not going to let it go to waste without another week of effort.

I'll be chasing pronghorn this weekend and whitetail the next. Then I have three weeks of elk hunting with family and friends. I
have my fingers crossed, a buck in the 120's or bigger will go down by the end of December.

Here's a link to the Avatar guys:
