I saw 7 does and fawns last night, none of them within range. They all came out 20 minutes before dark. The farmer was taking the corn out until 6 last night. It should all be gone by the time I get back there this evening. Hopefully I can shoot a doe tonight. Good luck and good shooting.

Friday evening I had a doe come in so quietly that I didn't even see/hear her until she was 15yrds from my stand. I had a good shot initially, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't a yearling, and by the time I realized it was an adult she had gone behind me, leaving no shot.
But, the good news is our regular archery season opens today (I'm not hunting because of the 82F heat) and it's supposed to get cooler around here next week after the rain. I don't get a lot of early season activity in my area anyway. Bring on the rut!

Congratulations Tribal!! I saw 5 does and 3 bucks last night. None of them were within range, all over 100 yards away. 2 of the bucks did some light sparring. One was a forky and the other appeared to be a decent 8. It was getting so dark I couldn't get a good look at his rack. I will try again on Wednesday and see what happens!! Good luck and good shooting!!
