Hey this is miss near miss and that's all good with me. I'm looking to redeem myself this year. Last season I shot a nice 8 pt but hit him right in the shoulder blade and it didn't even hurt him. My husband says he would of scored in the mid 130's. we are getting a few pics of him now and he really grew. He s a 9 pt now and easily In the mid 150's or better. So I'm pretty optimistic

Why are you "miss near miss"? But your screen name is different?

I won't be on here a ton but, I will check in from time to time. I am usually good for a doe and been in a dry spell for large antlers but I will probably be less picky this year. I have to realize that the land and the hunting pressure at my house is significant. I have several smaller bucks on cam the last 2 weeks largest being a 115' 10 pointer give or take. Come next weekend he will go down given the chance. A few small 8 pointers too. But after the last couple of years, I am tired of waiting for something that won't happen.

I have been asked to remind you all of the following rule for the contest. Make sure that you follow this rule or your deer will be dq'd.
Captains, please remind your team that the hunter, the bow and the entire deer must be present in the picture. There are no exceptions to this rule and last year 2 bucks were disqualified.

Congrats Woodline, you'll make a fine leader!
I just put in my new Cudde Attack (flash), so I'll see how she does in 2 weeks. I checked my older Cudde as well, only had a few doe and a couple of still spotted young ones. I'm excited for this season since I have set higher standards for myself.
