quick update from my side of the field. Bathroom remodel is just about finished. I ended up working on a lot more stuff in there than I planned on. All I have left to do is finish staining the trim, set the toilet, cleanup and I am back in the woods for a doe. I am really in no hurry though since the corn is still not harvested in my area. Baby could still be here any day. Good luck guys!!!

Well our new baby girl was born today at 9 this morning so it might be a few weeks before I can get out. kinda a funny story lol. I was taking pics of the new little one in the hospital and starting looking at some of my trail cam pics on the same sd card. I actually had a pic of the buck I shot and didn't even know it lol. Its easy to tell its him, he has six on the left side including the split brow and a small sticker coming out of the right side G2. here is the pic.

Well I finally was able to get a shot at this elusive buck here in PA. I took him with my crossbow this evening. It's rifle season but where I hunt it's too close to house for rifle safety zones but not for a bow. Came in head on and stood for 5 minutes until he turned and started to walk right. I hate taking a quartering to shot but he only went 60 yards.
I usually use the 125 grain 2 blade rage but I bought a pack of the New Rage Extremes. They cut a 2.3" hole. You can see it in the one picture. I'm raising my Grand-daughter and she can't wait until she can go hunting.
