Oops got a little trigger happy there. Anyway, update from my hunts here so far. Been kinda of quiet but cold air is moving in. Should get stuff moving real quick. Well had a doe dead to rights last night but let her go because there was a buck following her. Well buck presented himself however he was only a half-rack.... Would've been a decent 8pt too, crap! Doe walked off and so did the buck. Funny thing is my partner had another half-rack over by him as well except he was a smaller framed one and was missing the opposite antler of the one I saw... Well keep trying right?? I have options and that's all one can ask for...

Here is the one I got yesterday. Not the biggest one out there but I had to work my butt off to get him. I missed a 150 class the day before and then the quail hunters started showing up and had no respect for other hunters in the woods. I was only hunting a 30 acre public track but there was 30000 other acres that they could have been on. I even had them walk up to my blind and yell to see if I was in it. Then continue to walk and run there dogs all over the place. Any way he field dressed 140 lbs which is pretty good for around here. I'll try to score him after I get everything cleaned up

Nice buck, congrats!! I wish I could hunt in the middle of November with a light sweat shirt lol. It was 19 degrees when I stuck mine the other day.

Well fellas, I don't have a pic of a monster buck, but I have pics of a beautiful lil doe. Momma gave birth 11/12/13 to this sweet little baby girl.
