Killed an 8 point Sat. morning. He's not huge but decent for down here. He scores a little over 92. I'm going to hold off entering him for now. I should be able to upgrade. I have been seeing a few 8 points, but nothing real good. I have a picture of a good 8 point on my cam that will score in the high 120's or low 130's. I will hold out for him unless something else good comes along.

Great job superstrutter! You have 1 in the pocket so now you can relax and enjoy the rest of your season.

Seen a couple shooters but didn't get any shot opportunities. For an all day sit I was disappointed that the only movement was in the 1st 2 hours of the morning. Maybe they'll be moving more later this week.

We are going through summer temps right now. Daylight movement is very slow. This week calls for cooler temps, so hopefully this will help. Only thing I managed to kill this weekend was a coyote. Still have not seen any rutting activity. They are usually running by this time. I saw six does this evening and not a buck in sight. I guess the rut is going to be a little later this year. Probably in the next two weeks. I went ahead and posted my deer. I figured we needed a few points. I can always replace this score if I upgrade. Who all is hunting?

Hope they all check in. I'm seeing more bucks now, but nothing real impressive. Most are 2 year old bucks. It's good to see them though.

Sorry guys but I have nothing to show for my rifle season. Out of the time I went out, which was 5 days, I only seen deer in the 1st hour on the 1st day. I have no idea what happened in my area but cameras didn't even capture much during that time.
