I just got a gut punch.
I go walking on the land I have permission to hunt on.
Only to have the owners girlfriens hollar out his front door, saying I no longer have permission to hunt.
It is Thanksgiving day, so I didn't want to get into an argument.
Now im stuck.
My truck, is still broke down, and now the land I had to hunt on is gone.
Hopefully I can get another truck, and can go somewhere else to hunt.
I hope every one else is having better luck.

I've been out Monday and Tuesday for the PA opener. It is the slowest I've ever seen it here. I got completely skunked yesterday for the first time EVER in rifle season. Sat from 6:30-3 without seeing a single deer. Monday I sat 6:30-5 and saw 6.

This midweek stuff is for the birds. I'll be back out Saturday and next Saturday. Those two days are usually gold.

Sorry to hear that, jrb. Sucks...good luck on remedying that situation. I haven't been able to get in the woods in a couple weeks. Out of town for Thanksgiving, and busy trying to get things done so that I can go most of Friday, and Saturday. Hopefully something will happen!

This past Saturday was just as bad as Tuesday. I sat for 8 hours and saw 1 deer. About 2:30 I couldn't take it anymore and decided enough was enough. I will be back out Saturday!

Seasons over. One of the worst for me in a long time. Very dull sits. Very few deer. Glad it's over because that was hell.

I just realized the teams were revamped. But I'm afraid I was no good to anybody. No firearms deer for me this year. A belated merry Christmas and happy new year to all.
