The weight is from them eating the grain the farmer puts out for the cattle.. I was a little disapointed it had a full fan. I was wanting the jake fan to put on jake-mobile. I made one from a full fan allready and it doesn't look the best..lol

This one flew right into the decoys off the roost. I had 5 more fly over my head into a field. The hen came in and tried to pick a fight with the decoys. most of the Toms keep running from them. Yall have any idea what is going on. I am using just 2 hens right now.

The public area I'm headed to next weekend is loaded up with turkeys. It gets hit pretty hard during the first 2 weeks but calms down a little by the third. I'm a little worried though cause the area is getting hit with tornados right now.

kellyguinn

What is the species of the Turkey?

I am not good a telling the difference on some turkeys?

Also everyone if you get a turkey please post the Species.

kellyguinn done a great job posting the specs on his turkey but if you don't have scales or way to take a picture you can just post your measurments but pictures would be great if you can get some, I will help you post them if you don't know how.

Thanks

I will be MIA or the next couple of days or so.

I plan to go to my moms cabin this afternoon to spend 2-3 nights so I don't have to drive so far everyday to turkey hunt.

If anyone get a turkey and posts it I will get caught up with putting them in the scoring thread when I get home.

Good Luck Everyone!!!

Forgot to mention, I had a coyote stalk and attack one of my turkey decoys last week. This is the first time I've ever had that happen. It was pretty funny. Only wish I hadn't forgot my camera. I saw him coming well in advance. I think he actually came in to my calls on a bee line.
