That would be bad hunting turkeys in 90 degree heat

I have the same problem in Montana. Today was 80 to hot for this time of year. It could be ugly.

I went out scouting both yesterday and this morning and heard plenty of gobbling and saw plenty of big gobblers.

Yesterday I heard 4 different gobblers and saw a big group with 3 longbeards and 18 hens in a field on another farm after flydown.

This morning I heard 3 gobblers and saw several groups containing (13) longbeards on farms I can hunt. It rained last night so they were all out in the fields shaking off this morning. I saw one group with 4 longbeards and 24 hens, another with 7 longbeards and 22 hens, and a third group with 2 longbeards and 8 hens.

I haven't heard a turkey yet this season and we're suppose to get up to two foot of snow today and tomorrow. I'm not complaining we need it here in Arizona.

I wish it was cold enough for snow where i live

April 23rd. Long way off.

well over two feet of snow with three to three and a half foot drifts. good for antler growth on our elk herds this spring and our turkey hunting doesn't start until April 28th plenty of time for the snow to melt.

I hear ya! This year has been unseasonably warm in WV. We had 0 winter here. They're definitely getting an early start.
