Team 5 Fan Addicts
#31
I am on board with fan addicts. I was a team captain last year, so if you need any help just holler.
I'm jealous of you guys starting so soon. I have to wait until April 20th for my Illinois 3rd season tag. It will be here before I know it though (I keep telling myself that)

went and listened again this morning. our season starts tomorrow. i did hear a few hens where i heard the gobbler yesterday. it was bad foggy this morning and a little after daylight some yahoo stopped at the creek and did a 5 minute long sick hen call on a box call. of coarse we didn't hear a answer. if he shows up tomorrow i'm going to blow the tops out of some pines. there is no way i would stop and call so close to someone else. he drove past me about 100 yards and started his noise. public land-go figure................tony

I also hunt public in Fla. so I understand where your coming from John. I've had two decoys "shot" over the years. That was out in Bear Island. A good friend had a bird shot out from under him with a rifle years ago. Also Bear Island. I still hunt down here but my real hunting won't start til Ga's opener on the 24th.

bad, bad, bad. thats the only way to describe this morning. heard 5 different owl calls, several crow calls, and a whole herd of hen calls. i was in the swamp at 5;05 this morning. didn't see a soul on the way in. from 5;30 till daylight it sounded like a racetrack. on the way out i saw 7 different trucks. i never made a call of any type. i'm going to leased land tomorrow................tony
