I hear ya Arrow!! You stacking em up now! Great bird, is that it now or you going out of state again?
I wish I could go back to north bama for this final weekend! Like I thought, the new track of land fell through. On the bright side got a calling gig lined up for this weekend. He's been messin with these birds all season with no luck, and has never taken a turkey. Hopefully if they play right we'll get him that first bird!! Don't look like I'll pull the trigger again this year unless my Ohio trip comes together. Need y'all to keep droppin toms for me to drool over! Good luck crew!!!!!!

Went out this morning on our hunt and heard 5 birds! We got set up, and waited for him to fly down. Once on the ground he only gobbled about 2 more times then got tight lipped on us (he had a lot of hens roosted around him). With all the odds stacked against us, Mr. Longbeard decided to show up anyway! Well, now my friend who's never taken a turkey can at least say he's shot at one! He was upset, but we managed to laugh about it a little later on. We tried to strike another bird and walked up on 6 hogs, close! Needless to say that ended our hunt, because after a whispering 3 count we spent every turkey load we had! Lol!

RR, we sure made em squill, but didn't put any on the ground. They have really done a number on this guys land! Rooting up all his greenfields, and just making a mess.

I had the opportunity to meet deer tracks and Turkey Goddess today. They are meeting up with JW in Wisconsin to hunt some birds. I love meeting fellow turkey hunters to swap some stories. I'll be ready to go down and try and call in some birds with them this year.
