This morning was uneventful again. Heard one short faint gobble way off somewhere, not on my land, sounded like a jake. I went towards it and tried to get within 3 or 400 yds and see if he would gobble again, but he didn't. I'm going one last time in Alabama Thursday morning with a buddy on his place. I might try to go another time or two in Georgia, but I have a feeling baby will be here very very soon. Way to go again Kenny, keep on bustin 'nem heads buddy!

Good luck this morning men! Hope some birds are flopping uncontrollably on the ground about 25yds in front of you in a couple of hours! I'll be checking on my phone at work for the details!
SS, hang in there! You'll get one yet. Wish you the best of luck with the rest of season, and I'm praying all goes well with the new addition! Now get your butt out there and roll one up! Lol!!

I got the bearded hen!!! I have let her walk the last 2 youth seasons and I told dad I wanted to try and kill her. We got in the blind and had 2 birds fly in the field. Dad gave her a couple soft yelps and she came feeding in to about 10 steps. She had an 8.5" beard and weighed 13 lbs.
