Yeah, he was crazy close. And yes, amazing he can take that to the chest and walk away like nothing happended. That is why I said it is a game of inches. 1" higher would have been a dead bird, 2" higher could have been a decapitation, instead...it is a miss. The experence is still worth it's weight in gold though.

I think i am speaking for the whole team...You did not let us down. we are proud to have you on our team. some times things happen out of our controll and you are very admirable for sticking by your husband and helping him. everyone on here knows it is family first. so please do not feel like you let us down. i hope we can keep this team next year and am and would be proud to say you are on it.

I'll be out all month... Going tonight, but I have to guide in the morning and possibly all day... I'm takin a gun though... I normally don't when I guide but I talked to her and she is cool with it... So, I'm looking at killing something later.

I've seen 3 birds put down... I haven't shot any yet.... lol

I'm hunting all weekend too! Last day of season is Sunday... Located a vocal Tom where I'm hunting tomorrow. I know where he's roosting tonight & he likes to be noisy sometimes.

Gonna get as close to him as I can at about 4am & hope he fly's down so we can call him in. Not sure if he's callable - but I'M HOPING!!!
