Just got back from a morning drive. 2 strutters right where they are supposed to be in the back corner of one of my farms! It's the home of my old nemesis Hollywood, if he's still alive should be a 4 yr old at least. Might have to break out a trail cam and set it up out there and see if i can't get a closer look.
Was a big releif to see them out there cause my prospects ain't been lookin real good. 2 of my spots land owners have said they haven't seen anything and my one spot on state land is getting butchered right now, they ain't leaving many trees and not sure if they will even be done and out of there by season.
2 new spots i'm lookin into getting on, hopefully i can pick up at least one of them. And still haven't made the 2 hour drive north to check the spot i was bankin on for the season, landowner was in Florida last i knew, maybe this weekend i'll make it up there.
