Congrats on a very nice bird. I will post the score. I had a great afternoon fishing a nearby river. Caught many white perch and bass. The bass were absolutely tearing it up this afternoon. Keep plugging away guys. Good luck to everyone still hunting.

Congrats everyone

Scored this morning on a picture-esk hunt...other then we heard one gobble and that was this young feller...on the ground....60 yards from us. where he came from and how he got there is beyond me (we were set up under the rest of the roosted birds).

Buddy got it all on film though, awesome hunt!

19.25lbs, 9.25" beard, twin 3/4" spurs (typical two year old) NY Eastern

Your score is 19.25 + 7.5 + 7.5 + 18.5 = 52.75

The 835 shooting winchester supreme number 5s in 3.5" out of a Colonial Arms (Star Dot) choke did the trick at just about 40 yards...rolled him during his gobble.

not my biggest or my smallest but very unique hunt!

Well I guess you are still alive MDM. Congrats on your bird. I will post the score. Your bird will help out a lot. We are still doing good in the contest. Keep after 'em guys.

As of 5/4 our score for best bird per hunter is 426.3125. Seven of us have connected with at least one bird. Our total kill score is 12 birds at 711.225. Lets get some more.

Congrats MDM!

Went out this morning for a quick hunt before work. Had a gobbler going but a hen intercepted and led him off. I don't know how those hens know where I'm going to set up but they always seem between me and the gobbler. Beautiful morning though.

Been a tough year for me so far. Only able to get out three times, nothing within range but yotes and deer. Back at it tomorrow. The season is still young. Hopefully work won't get too in the way. I've been asked to be available to travel... Got some destroyers that need systems groomed.

Not so hot today. Hot sticky morning, a few distant gobbles, then rain. Not sure if I'll hit public land tomorrow or take a day next week and hit a farm in CT. Can't hunt Sunday in CT.
