Just got back from Texas last night. Had some great hunts. I was able to get three Rios. First bird weighed 21 lbs 4 oz and scored 62.975.Bird number 2 weighed 18 lbs 10 oz. and scored 54.125. It was raining that morning, so he was soaking wet. Bird number 3 weighed 19 lbs 5 oz and scored 57.3125.

great job once again superstrutter! you sure can pile up some birds! still got a month till season starts here and im not sure how much ill be able to hunt. just found out ill be working all saturdays in may so I guess I will just be hunting mornings for a little before work but i should be able to get one or two.

Went back to my property in Louisiana this morning and got this nice longbeard. The story is on the bragging board. He will replace my previous high score. Bird weighed 19 lbs 2 oz, had an 11" beard. and matching 1 1/4" hooks. A true limbhanger. He officially scores 66.125

It's kind of bittersweet. I have had a great short season, but I'm only one week into the season and
I'm done. I do have one Texas tag left, so I may take a trip to the Grasslands some time in April. I'm going to help a couple of friends get birds, so that will be fun. Good luck to you guys. Let's win the contest again.
