Hey guys, seeing lots of deer. Our shotgun season started on the 9th. Went out last night and saw 6 does, all small or with fawns. Passed on a young 8pt that wasn't big enough. He'll be a nice one next year. Only have one buck tag left so I have to make it count. Hopefully i'll be able to take a big doe in the morning. Good luck everybody and be safe out there. Oh, thank a veteran.

got back early this mornin...i saw him, but he saw me 1st lol. was a long hike.
i dont know what he was doing up at 6am lol he ran east, right onto another property.
gonna try again monday er tuesday.
i know where to come from, hope he saw me walk right through as i just kept going when he blew me 3 times.
to be honest i got a lil scared he was gonna kick my arse.
i shined the red light on him as he was runnin off, looked like at least 18" spread. still cant count the points. taking my rifle next time, and a turkey call.

Sorry Guys!! Seasons done for me. Blew an opportunity that I'm sure I'll never forget. Hoping that he sticks around for the rest of bow season.

Well I waited till the last day no hitlisters showed so I put the hammer on a decent 3yr old 9pt.
