I've got a special draw hunt on October 20th. It's a doe only tag, but I'm hoping to get us started early on that hunt!

First team all checked in with their captain checked in also gets a 50 point bonus! Get signed in everyone! Would anyone else like to be captain this year?

I will be travelling for work over the next few weeks. I will be checking in here on the weekends though. So continue to check in and post as usual and I will update the list when I can. These next three weeks are very busy, then I'll be back as usual!

We need a captain picked. I can do it again, unless somebody else wants it. Also, waiting on the rest to sign up. Hopefully they will.

Well guys, my hunt was exciting. Saw 7 doe and a 130ish 8 point. He came in the same way I did and could tell I walked through. He sniffed, blew and walked away. I could have shot him in the butt as he walked down the hill but my lifetime goal is to never wound a deer and I had just got back from tracking a bigger one my buddy shot. We never found it so I couldn't try it. I was using a primitive muzzleloader too-may have done it with a rifle.

You did a good job last year and i dont think anyone else is gonna argue about it so you might as well do it again.

The weather is looking decent for my hunt this weekend. partly cloudy with a high of 50deg. That's good for this time of year. It's an antlerless only hunt, so I'm hoping to see some bald headed deer running around!
