Went out this morning and counted 8 deer and even saw a buck chasing 4 doe's which is rare this time of year in Ohio. Going back out in the morning.

Had better luck this morning and shot doezilla. By far the biggest doe i have ever seen, this photo doesn't do her justice. Made sure to get my bow in the pic this time lol. I was about 30 feet up when this big girl and three other doe's came running in right beneath me and started acting really weird. The one that i shot was the biggest of the four and for whatever reason she would stand up on her rear legs, lunge forward at the other females, and deliver some nasty punches to the side of their faces. I could feel the impact 30 feet up, pretty crazy stuff.

I do my own processing, and i don't have a scale. I couldn't even guess her weight because i have never had any deer weighed. I heard about another doe killed on the same property a few years ago who apparently is the county record doe.

dang son! your should be set on deer meat! looks like someone is having a fun hunting season, and thanks for getting that bow in the picture this time! lol. I cant wait to see the bucks start showing up in some pictures. Should start getting right in the new few weeks for you midwest hunters. I still have 2 months before the rut, maybe 2-1/2 months!

Congrats on a HUGE doe!!

I went out Sunday morning & didn't see a deer! Things are starting to heat up a bit, there were 2 fresh scrapes within 25yds of my stand. We also got these pics on one of our cameras.
