Went out for an evening hunt last weekend and saw my target buck from about 300 yards away. Gonna try to get out Sunday and setup near where i saw him, or at least tag another doe so i get a proper photo and some points on the board.

Was a windy day here. I took a few hours to still hunt a new area that I'd never been to. I found some awesome terrain. I walked to within 50Yds of a doe and a spike @ about 3:30.
I found a sweet spot for a mock scrape. Right at the intersection of 4-5 heavily used trails, there are a ton of oaks there too.

Sat all weekend long in terrible conditions. 15-30mph winds and rain. Not my ideal thought of deer hunting but when you only have so many opportunities to go I guess you have to take whatever you can get. Unfortunately only saw a couple does way of in the distance. Hopefully out again next weekend with some better weather and luck! Good luck guys!

went out yesterday and saw nothing but squirrels and birds.
today is suppose to be near 80 so I'm sure nothing will be moving.
Next outting will be next Monday after class and Tuesday all day.
