I sat on the edge of a bean field tonight and had a fork walk by. It's good to know they are chewing on the beans now. Looks like it should be good this weekend.

One of the guys on our lease checked his camera & sent me this today. I zoomed in & he has a split brow tine on his right side. I hope to see this one during the season!

So who's got their buck locked down, patterned, in the sights?
Not me! I'm just going out there willy-nilly!!
Nah, not really! I got a few "buck living rooms" to stake out. I also have a few new spots to hit. I like to bounce around so as to not overhunt an area, but once I see a toad, I'll be all over him. Check out this link for some tips!!http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=T7Dak8V_OpQ

Jermelott isn't doing worth a damn elk hunting!! I could have killed some giants if I were hunting with a gun, but a bow is a different story. Well... I have one more evening hunt to go, leaving out in about an hour. Wishing I didn't pass on that spike or cow earlier in the week. We shall see..... Later
