I agree just one doe so everyone would have a chance to put some points on the board because in the end that little extra could be a big part

Watched a spotted fawn for a few minutes while squirrel hunting tonight. I gave it a lecture about what to expect come hunting season. Hopefully it listens to me, so it'll make it to next year!

I'm still on the fence about the whole doe thing. The one thing that makes me lean in favor is that some folks have to shoot a doe before they can shoot a buck.

Then again, i would feel sorry for the guys that shoot a doe so they can score for their team only to find out it's a button buck.....

Cody - any word from jdb_77? He's the only team member missing. I shot him a message when teams were chosen but never heard anything back.

checked my local camera yesterday. Unfortunately they were a little light on pics. Acorns are REALLY dropping here so I kind of expected it. No oaks on my local spot but I know the deer are in the area and will be back when October hits. Did had a new one antlered 4 point. Nice looking buck, just one antler. Good thing is I have all my lanes trimmed and ready to go so when October 1st hits all I'll have to do is climb in the tree.

Started September 1 st, Iv set 4 times do far and seen 3 shooter bucks just haven't. Closed the deal yet. Have had numerous 2 and half year olds within range and let me tell yah some of them are hard to let slip by But the deer are shifting there time to the acorns now so it should be bettering hope.
