Yes we do have a full team now. SuperDave was added because we were missing 1 member after the deadline. So now it's go time. We need to put some deer on the ground and points on the board!
Snapper- do you film for a show? also where in IL will you be filming?

Well I will hit the lease on Friday night. Not sure how long I will stay down there, but at the very least I should knock down a doe for us. If the mature 8 or the mature 9 show up I will probably put an arrow though one of them.

Snapper thats great! well if you could post a pic of the deer they shoot that would be cool to see what they bring down. I actually hunt a farm in Wayne county IL just to the north of where your going. Its beautiful down there if you don't mind the oil wells LOL! Is building dream hunts the name of the show? is it on TV?

Well guys, bow season opened on the 15th in two of the states I hunt in. I went to Missouri for the opener but got rained out. I did manage to get on the stand opening morning and sat in the rain for four hours. I didn't see anything but squirrels.
I suppose I can say that this Friday will be my official season opening hunt. It's supposed to rain, but we'll have B.J., the Super Dog in camp. He's a deer tracking legend, so we're not too worried.
This past weekend I was in Great Lakes, IL for my daughter's Navy boot camp graduation. I would have missed a rut hunt anywhere in the country to have been there for her. She's the youngest of six, so I guess I'm officially an "empty nester" now. I can hunt every weekend if I want.
Here's a pic I took of my daughter while we were at Red Lobster in Gurnee, IL:
