I did not see a thing. Ditto for most of the other people I talk with around here. The deer are really bottled up after the rut and the two gun seasons. I don't think I have ever saw the entire herd in our area go nocturnal. I am hoping with this huge mid-week snow storm I will start seeing deer in daylight hours again.

I will be heading out this afternoon as the land owner has been seeing deer near my stand from his living room window.

I will be heading out this evening again. The land owner said since the snow fell on Wednesday he is seeing deer in daylight again. Hopefully this evening will be a good one for me!!!!!

I finally saw some deer again. I saw 4. I was definitely encouraged by this and will be at it again Monday, New Year's Eve.

Well the seasons officially over here in Michigan. Sorry guys, never made it back out with the bow once rifle season hit. After the first week of that was hard to see a deer let alone get one within bow range. Ended up taking a six and 2 does, one was this mornin. So the freezers full but sure didn't do the team score any good. Thanks for a good contest guys and congrats to all that got it done.

I nailed a young doe on New Year's Eve with the bow. Here are a couple pics.

I had no deer sightings Thursday night. But, I was greatly encouraged by this. It looks like a deer highway through these pines. There is barely a spot of snow that doesn't have a deer track on it. Here is a pic from my stand.
