I've gotten out once since gun season ended here in Wisconsin. But this wed we have another one starting with does only. I will get out once with my bow and orange on during this hunt. Then I have archery only again for a bit until dec 24th then a holiday gun season starts and goes until the first weekend in January.

I didn't see a single deer. We really need a big huge cold front to move in and get those big boys back on their feet in daylight hours. Now that the second gun season is over I will be getting out at least a couple times a week until muzzle loader season then that last month as much as possible to try and get my freezer a little fuller.

i hunted yesterday morning and evening, saw 7 doe and 2 1.5 year bucks and a handfull of does on the evening sit. ill be back out this evening, and a few more times up until the 1st of next year.
