We got some rain and wind coming in tonight that clears out close to daylight. Might be a good morning!

Saturday evening I shot at a nice doe. I didn't see the branch/stick in the way and it deflected my arrow. So, she lived to see another day. Monday morning I forgot my release but I didn't see any deer anyways. Monday evening I saw 7 does and 5 different bucks. I saw the giant we have on the property. He is at least 180". Then I saw a nice 150" and two that would go 110"-120". Then there is this real scrubby looking older buck that I have no idea what his score is. I had the 150" at 40 yards broadside at 7:05pm. I could see him but I couldn't see my pins so I let him go. Not a bad evening but would have been better if I put one down.

I was out this evening (16th) and didn't see anything. I won't be back out until the evening of the 18th.

Just curious. I saw someone enter a button buck as a doe. Is that legal? Personally, I think if someone shoots a button buck they should lose points.
