Gonna check the cams again in the a.m and set up a popup blind. Hopeully a few more pics this time. I have a 2 mile stretch of road with 3 diff farms on it that i can hunt. Been driving it on my way to wotk in the morns and have been seeing an average of 50-70 deer every day with at leat 6-8 bucks. Been hunting this area for quite a few years now and have never seen deer like this! I'm way stoked and can't wait for the season! Also have a couple treestands i'd like to move around, but it's hard to find where to go with em untill the corn gets picked, last couple years been having a real hard time patterning them, they seem to come into the feilds a diff way every day. Seems like every 50 ft theres a good run and its hard to narrow it down.

I checked the camera's on Friday. The one camera isn't working very well but the other one seems to be doing a little better. I got a pic of a nice crab claw 10 point. He does look a little young though. I think he is 2 1/2, possibly 3 1/2. Once I get the pic posted you guys can look at him and tell me what you think. It is also just a profile pic (broadside view) so it's hard to judge what he might score. From what I see of him he probably looks two years away from the hit list. Also, I had a nice treat show up on the cam. I have a piebald doe. If I get a chance at her, she will definitely be taking a dirt nap. I will work on getting these posted. Also, this year I decided to try putting in some small food plots for the first ever. I planted them Aug. 24th. I checked them the same time I checked my camera's. One looks to be doing really well. The other one looks good in some spots and not so good in other spots. So far I am happy with the results.

Hello all, sorry for not checking in sooner. I've been working alot of overtime lately. I put my first trail camera ever, out this year and it was gone in less than a week. Didn't even get to see any pictures..... This is on private land as well. I live and hunt in Southeastern Kentucky but take a vacation in November to bow hunt in Western Kentucky where the big bucks roam. Our season came in on the first and I have only hunted a couple times. It's been hot for the most part. Good luck all.
