One of the guys bowhunting our leased land got within 15 yards of a HUGE bodied 10 pointer with a 22" inside spread and hit it in the shoulder but no penetration. The buck ran, pulled the arrow out with his teeth (no lungs or much blood on it) and went on his way. Should still be around for rifle season opening on Saturday the 19th.

All I'm going to say is that I blew a chance at a Huge one today But I did do a good deed. Some roadhunters shot at a doe while it was running directly at me, I had to hit the dirt when I seen the deer and the vehicle stopped in the road, and they decided to let it lay. So I used my bonus doe tag and claimed it. SOB road hunters!!!

Our shotgun season started on Friday here in Delaware. Took Friday off and all of next week. Been seeing alot of smaller Deer untill tonite. Took a real nice Doe with my 220F. First Deer with my new gun. Gotta say those Accutips really get the job done. She weighted in at 112lbs. live weight. 50yd shot, complete pass thru and she ran about 60 yards. Tag is in the ear, hunter, Deer, gun and tag.
