Went out last night and got bored in my stand and decided to scout a little slowly moving through the woods. Well I found two huge scrapes the size of a table top. I did catch up to a deer but he slipped away before I could tell what it was, but based off the size of the tracks he's a nice one. Gonna set up a stand sunday and hopefully get a shot. SC gun season for my area has been open since 15 aug. Crazy I know.

Add this one to our total.

We are the only team with points on the board right now. Way to go team!

I actually shot two, one half hour apart from each other. Too bad only one doe per person in this contest. My license states the limit as being 10 does just for muzzle loader season alone.

Way to knock 'em down Brother! State has me shut down until Nov. 5. I'm already loading my truck...

Well earlier I posted I found some big scrapes. I set out a camera and got a spike a 7pt and a really nice 10 pt. This scape is visited everyday. I also have pics of does coming to the scrapes every morning between 9:20am and 10:30 am. I'm gonna hunt sat morn but not get to my stand til 8:00 am. Hopefully one of those does are coming in and will bring that buck with it. Hope I can get him to add to our score. I'll post a pic of him tonight.

That's good shooting pluckit. I'm a fan of neck shots.

Today is the last day for checkin's. I've PMed Bear several times, so I'm assuming he's a no-show.

I got a buck this morning, unfortunately for the team it was archery, so it won't count. Figured I'd post it in this thread anyway. Decided to take a "long weekend" from college and skip thursday and friday. Got him this morning. Broadhead hit both lungs and put a nice cut across the top of the heart.
