Well had my first rifle hunt this weekend. Didn't see any in the woods but seen two B&C bucks on the road.. Overall it was a nice fun & relaxing couple of days(:

now it's time to get back to bow hunting until my youth hunt next weekend.

Richwrench,

Jake - I'll try & post pics tomorrow. Today is my wife's AND my mom's birthday - can't play on the internet too long. Can I score it myself, or does it have to be by a 3rd party?

4. Will be using the Boone & Crockett Gross scoring system,

Green scores w/ no deductions.
Typical or Non-Typical bucks...
Link to Boone & Crockett scoring system and instructions:
http://www.boone-crockett.org/bgRecords/bc_scoring_typwhitetail.asp?area=bgRecords&type=Ty pical+Whitetail+Deer

Whitetail (as norm):125/125 = score x 1
Columbia blacktail: 125/90 = score x 1.39
Sitka blacktail: 125/75 = score x 1.67
Mule deer: 125/145 = score x 0.86

Below is a link for B&C typical mule deer scoring system.

http://www.boone-crockett.org/bgRecords/bc_scoring_typmuledeer.asp?area=bgRecords&type=Typ ical+Mule+Deer+%26+Blacktail

I've just copy and pasted from the rules thread. Follow the link and instructions, and that is the score you post. It's pretty simple to do.
