I like the name also, and the avatar...Bow hunting has been slow so far, the weather has been just to warm and the corn is still in. The good news is the temps are starting to get more normal and the farner is hoping to get the corn cut before Halloween weekend. We have noticed a couple nice scrapes and have pics of a couple nice bucks roaming around...

Who do you want for team captain, any one?
And has any one seen Deerslayer223?
He is the only one not checkedin.
I have sent him private messages, and emails.
Can some one go to his profile, and send him a Instant Message.
I don't know how lol

Got out last week. I saw around 15 or so differant bucks just no shooters. Thursday we had the cold front finally come into Western Oklahoma. It was 90 on Wednesday and 38 when I got in the woods Thursday morning. I passed 23 deer that morning including 9 bucks. I'm hoping that the rut stays going over Thanksgiving week. That will be the last shot I get this year.
Good luck

Kelly

Welcome to the team Boogeyman24.

jrbsr- I vote you as the captian!! You seem to be the most active on our team. Hopefully the chatter will pick up as the seasons get going full swing...

Hi All,

Thanks and I'm glad to be part of the team, even if it is late. I'll be hunting in Buffalo County, and I'm planning to take the whole week off, so should get 7 or more days in with the gun.

Did a lot of bow hunting this year but didn't tag out - will be leaving the woods alone until Nov 19th hoping to score then!

If an official captain wasn't named yet I'd say jrbsr gets my nod.

I'll try to post some pics of the deer that have been on the cam this year - exciting to see them but very few were spotted during daylight, but anything can happen I suppose.

Good luck to everybody!!!

Hey guys,
I've been following the thread but haven't been posting. It is bow season yet and my free time is spent in a stand or taking care of my 6 month old. She is a little more demanding than my hunting hobby but still enjoyable.

But, rifle season opens this Saturday and I should be out every morning and evening until something falls. I have my eye on a couple of different bucks I have on camera but I know there are more out there that will cause me to pull the trigger.

Good luck all and I hope you enjoy your season.

Tomorrow is the gun opener here.
I saw the 3 legged spike, and 3 does.
That is if the 3 legged deer is a spike.
They were headed to their bed so they will be around tomorrow.
Hopefully I will score tomorrow.
Wish me Luck.
