I was out Saturday morning. I had a fork horn come down and visit for a few minutes. He came down a trail I thought wasn't being used any more, but after a little investigation later on, it was just they weren't using it the last 10 yards to this hunting spot. So I cleared out a new shooting lane and hopefully I can sit this evening.

Several saplings are being hit now too. I guess they are warming up the antlers.

Good luck if you get a chance to get out.

I have been out three times. No bucks, other than buttons, seen so far. And the only deer in range was that button. Therefore, no meat as of yet. Hopefully that will change in the morning, though!

Season starts Saturday. Have been seeing only does and spikes eating under my chestnut trees but figure the bigger boys are staying further back during daylight hours.

Season starts Saturday... Not really sure what to expect.. I was planning on hunting in Michigan this year but my wallet told me to stay in Indiana... So I am hunting the same woods I took my deer in last year. Did not get a chance to scout the woods... SO I am not really sure what is out there.

Hey good luck to everyone. I will be heading to Indiana next week to try to score one for the team. Hunting 5 days up there then come home for 3 days and head to Alabama for the opening weekend there. Also kyslayer tried to chage avator but said JPEG image has incorrect file extension. I am not real computerer savy and don't have a clue what that means. Thanks Jerry
