I wish it worked like that tim. U have to enter your first bow buck of the season, and it has to be entered with-in 10 days (i Think) of when you shoot it. But i have the same dilemma, I hunt in Mississippi, where its possible for me to take a buck in the 120's up to around 130. But on November 6th, im heading to Illiniois for a bow hunt and you know whats in Illinois!! I would love to wait and see, but the rules state "your first bow buck". By the way nice doe!! I cant wait to get in the woods.

Hey guys, I don't get on much anymore but will keep in touch if I kill a buck. I took a young doe on the 7th and killed my first turkey with a bow on the 15th. So, my season is going pretty good so far. The doe had a bad case of ground shrinkage...lol It was rainy and early morning so I couldn't see the spots....lol

Its almost here!!! Weather is going to be great (for south Louisiana anyway). Lows in the upper 40's, highs in the 70's, wind out of the NNE (perfect for my set up). Didnt sleep well at all last night, and I still have two nights left!!!!
